Description
- Allows placement of a suction catheter above the endotracheal tube (ETT) cuff forremoval of secretions in orally intubated patients
- Designed for use with a standard suction catheter (sold separately) for acute suctioning, such as prior to extubation or cuff leak testing
- Supplied with a specially designed suction line with removable connector and integrated thumb port and plug for continuous or intermittent suctioning
- Compatible with standard 10 Fr and 12 Fr suction catheters and with ETT sizes7.0 mm to 8.5 mm, eliminating the need for specialty ETTs
- The guide's soft tip allows smooth insertion into the oral cavity, the slim profile allowseasy tracking over the ETT and the locking feature retains the suction line during insertion
