Description
- Tevdek braided polyester sutures with a heavy PTFE coating, exhibits easy handling, outstanding tensile strength, lubricity, and a reduced risk of wicking and tissue reactivity; knots slide smoothly
- The heavy PTFE (polytetrafluoroethylene) coating helps reduce dead space in the braid rendering the suture material virtually inert, and lowers the risk of wicking and tissue reactivity
- Indicated for use in general soft tissue approximation and/or ligation, including use in cardiovascular, ophthalmic, orthopedic, and neurological procedures
