The Maddak Arm Escort is designed for people with hemiplegia. It increases awareness and management of the upper extremity. The support reduces the risk of injury during transfer and ambulation. The wrist support attaches to a heavy-duty cotton belt with hook & loop strap, and detaches when not needed. It does not manage shoulder subluxation and is not recommended for use when the upper extremity has emerging movement during therapeutic activity for neuromusculars re-education.
