Description
- Unfilled polystyrene organizer container is made specifically for radiography, separation, imaging and transport of core needle breast biopsies
- O-ring lid with leakproof seal for no loss of sample/added preservative and easy transport from collection to analysis; formalin may be added prior to transport
- Special absorbent liner keeps specimens moist (when saline solution is added) prior to radiography while helping to attenuate the X-ray beam
- Four compartments allow for multiple samples per dish and are identified with radiolucent numbers that show up clearly on the radiograph
- Multi-compartment, space-saving design reduces cost by eliminating the need for individual specimen containers
