Description
- Bacteria-binding, absorbent island wound dressing made with polyurethane foam containing extremely absorbent polyacrylate particles
- Designed to quickly absorb and lock wound exudate within the dressing
- Constructed of Sorbact mesh, an acetate fabric coated with dialkyl carbamoyl chloride (DACC) which has hydrophobic properties
- Covered by a semipermeable and highly breathable polyurethane film to minimize trauma and pain during dressing changes
- Outer film is water-repellent yet permeable
