- Tissue-Tek Uni-Cassette Systems
- Plastic disposable tissue-processing container systems feature a sure-locking lid with fracture-back hinge
- Finger tab on lid facilitates opening
- Systems work perfectly in all conventional microtome clamps
- Uni-Cassettes are slotted with flush interior support ribs for ease of sample removal
- Base vent openings allow trapped air to escape for better fluid exchange during processing
- Biopsy cassettes are similar to Uni-Cassettes but have 1mm pores instead of slots, eliminating the need to wrap most small specimens and greatly reducing the risk of specimen loss
- Provided in five colors
- Reusable stainless steel base molds, for use with Uni-Cassette and Uni-Cassette Biopsy, are 5mm deep, and feature extended fins to prevent tipping and to provide a gripping surface
- Flat metal bottom allows maximum heat/cold exchange
