There are a few setup phases which include configuring the device and setting the volume control setting before treating a patient. Before treating any patient be sure to clean and degrease the user's skin to reduce reflection. Plug in the device and insert the safety key to turn on. Remove the clear protective barrier and apply to the skin then remove the red protective cap. One click activates the laser device and a double click switches on the SLD device.
