3PP Wrist P.O.P. Splint
The 3PP Wrist P.O.P. Splint is designed to apply adjustable compression across the distal ulna and distal radius. This splint will relieve painful clicking and carpal instability due to TFCC injuries, ulnar wrist pain and DRUJ trauma. The Wrist P.O.P. splint combines a base sleeve and compressive foam pads to allow the user to determine where and how much pressure to apply. The compression pads can be placed horizontally or vertically on the correction strap for targeted support. The soft, foam lined base sleeve will not slip or roll, eliminating the need for irritating closures touching the skin.
Point of Pressure
The P.O.P. Splint stands for point of pressure, and guarantees to provide compression and a counterpoint of pressure and stability. The design of this splint is used to realign, provide support, and for the treatment oftriangular fibrocartilage complex (TFCC) injuries, ulnar-sided wrist pain, and distal radioulnar joint (DRUJ) instability.
Sizing and Application
The Wrist P.O.P. Splint is available in two size options: Small/Medium and Large/X-Large. The Small/Medium fits wrists measuring 5' to 9'. The Large/X-Large size fits wrists 9' to 11'. To size simply measure around the wrist. Each splint fits either the right or left arm. To apply, first insert the pad to the corrective strap.
