Description
- Unique actuating mechanism in the neck bushing limits the excessive flow of gas to the patient's airway, reducing risks of gastric insufflation
- Resistance alerts the rescuer to reduce the effort and keep the airway pressure to the minimum to achieve adequate ventilation
- Red pressure actuating indicator moves to the forward position of the patient valve for a visual warning of improper technique
- If the patient's airway is restrictive, as in patients with COPD or asthma, the SMART BAG MO decreases the resistance, providing the rescuer with the required pressure to overcome the resistance
- At no time is the flow of gas into the patient compromised by the SMART BAG, allowing the rescuer to ventilate even the stiffest lung or most restrictive airway
