Features:
The new Shields II Knee Brace is low profile, lightweight and more breathable while maintaining the multi-use features of the original proven Shields brace.
Both models feature thinner Kuhl neoprene material that is 1/16" (1.4mm) thick, making it low profile to increase breathability.
Low profile Trakaderm U-shaped buttress, allows for treatment of multiple patella indications by adjusting the buttress to the symptomatic contact point no matter the malalignment. A directional force flap holds the buttress in place against the patella.
Independent calf and thigh straps adjust for contours of the leg.
The Hinged model contains removable bi-axial hinges providing additional medial and lateral stability. The back popliteal panel is made from a sueded lycra fabric for maximum comfort and breathability.
Braces fit both left and right.
