Description
- Designed for training and practicing proficiency in the placement and management of nasogastric feeding tubes, nasojejunal feeding tubes and gastrostomy devices in adults
- Feeding tube can be diverted into either the right or left lung, into the stomach or through a dynamic pyloric sphincter into the duodenum
- An open mouth and movable head allow for visualization of feeding tube curling in the back of the mouth during difficult placements, while a divided nasal septum allows for the use of nasal bridles
- The lungs, stomach and small intestine all accept fluids, allowing for aspiration and administering formula or medication; stomach aspirate pH can also be measured
- Fluids drain easily when the session is complete, and the skin is removable to reveal transparent internal anatomy and aid understanding
