The top shelf on these wire-shelf utility carts has a shallow lip, so objects need to be lifted less far to put them on or take them off the shelf than on lipped or deep-lipped shelves. The carts' bottom shelves have a tall lip that creates a shallow basket to prevent items from falling off them. Shelves with a tall lip are often used to hold tall or irregularly shaped items and bulk products. The height of the carts' shelves can be adjusted in 1" increments to accommodate different sizes of items.
