Heelift Glide Boots "glide" across bed sheets. This prevents the patient's leg from becoming entangled in sheets or blankets and also helps assure that the patient's food will remain in the proper position. Heelift Glide aids in preventing heel ulcers by lifting the heel with an elevation pad and suspending the heel in protective space. Pressure is transferred from the heel to the lower leg.
