Description
- Tubes for routine use in immunohematology testing and viral marker testing in screening and clinical laboratories
- Tubes are particularly effective in therapeutic drug monitoring testing
- Inner wall of each serum tube is coated with microscopic silica particles which activate the coagulation process when tubes are inverted
- During centrifugation, gel forms a stable barrier between the serum and the blood cells, separating the serum from fibrin and cells
- Supplied with nonridged pull caps with an exterior color-coded ring to indicate either the additive used or draw volume
