By framing the foot with air, the WAFFLE Air Cushion is meant to float the heel and provide foot stability while reducing lateral rotation. It is recommended for prevention and treatment of Stages I-IV pressure ulcers as well as deep tissue injuries. The foot pad and adjustable straps filled with air help pressure ulcer prevention while giving treatment and comfort for the user. The cushion may be used at home, in wheelchairs, or in a hospital.
