Gain Strength and Endurance
Use the Fitter Slide to gain strength and endurance in the lower body. Exercising with the glide board can target the glutes, hamstring, and quadriceps all at once. The repeated sliding movement engages the muscles as athletes and patients move between gliding exercises.
Glide Board Design
The Fitter Slide board is lightweight (23 lbs) for easy transportation around a clinic or training room. It features moveable bumpers that shift from 5-8 feet in width, to adjust for various stride lengths. The bottom is reinforced with a no-slip rubber coating to keep the board in place during rigorous use.
Stride Training
The Fitter Slide board uses nylon booties to allow the feet to quickly glide back and forth across the polymer board. This muscle engaging motion is useful for rehabilitation purposes in clinics, or in the training room for hockey and speed skating dryland workouts. The glide board allows users to try out long, paced strides and or short, quick strides for a combination of movements during a workout.
