Gripit ACTIVETAPE V2 is a 4 way stretch tape that offloads and then reloads soft tissues and joints. Its specially designed memory fabric offers consistent storage of energy into the tape and does not deform or change its behavior. By being able to stretch in both directions, it can adhere closely around joints and body parts for maximum full dynamic support  and unloading. The breathable fabric dries quickly, so that it is perfect for showering, swimming, water sports and frail sensitive skin. Its advanced Japanese adhesive technology provides maximum stick and ensures you can have confidence in it sticking through any high-level sport, recreational activities or working conditions. It is best applied on the body at a stretched and shortened position. When taped appropriately, the Gripit ACTIVETAPE V2 can provide mechanical assistance to a joint or muscle allowing for full movement as it stretches. It can also absorb force (load) and slow down movement (reduced eccentric contraction workload). Using the elastic recoil stretch properties, it can therefore be used to transfer the absorbed energy into assisting movement. It adheres well to both skin as well as itself, meaning you can apply multiple layers of tape to enhance the unloading muscle effect while still not restricting movement and is safe to use on all ages from children through to adults as well as during pregnancy.
