The Precision Spot Heat Gun with its small nozzle is great for fabricating or custom fitting thermoplastic splints. It is ideal for adjusting finger splints. The Precision Spot can also be used to adhere two pieces of thermoplastic or spot heating without the danger of overheating a carefully molded splint. The 1/2" nozzle allows precise spot heating and fits  in hard to reach places. Perfect for adjusting finger splints to modify for positioning a joint in slight hyperextension (e.g. to treat mallet finger) or to keep a joint in slight flexion (e.g. the PIP in the case of swan neck deformity). Six-degree Fahrenheit heat element ensures rapid heating. 12 Volts, 36W. Contains no asbestos or latex. UL listed.
