- Monofilament, synthetic, absorbable suture prepared from p-dioxanone and contains Irgacare MP
- Ideal for use in soft tissue approximation, including pediatric cardiovascular tissue, where growth is expected, and ophthalmic surgery, other than surgery involving contact with the cornea or sclera
- Unsuitable for adult cardiovascular tissue, microsurgery or neural tissue
- Especially useful in situations where a combination of absorbable sutures and extended wound support is desired
