- A nonabsorbable, braided, sterile, surgical suture
- Made fibers of high molecular weight, long-chain, linear polyesters having recurrent aromatic rings as an integral component
- Uniformly coated with polybutilate, a highly adherent, relatively nonreactive nonabsorbable compound that acts as a lubricant to improve handling qualities
- Suture is braided for optimal handling properties and dyed green for enhanced visibility in the surgical field
