The Swan-Ganz Continuous Cardiac Output (CCO) thermodilution flow-directed pulmonary artery catheters. When used with the Vigilance monitors, CCO catheters allow for continuous calculation and display of cardiac output. The Vigilance monitor uses thermal energy emitted by the thermal filament located on the catheter to calculate cardiac output using thermodilution principles. Alternatively, cardiac output can be measured using the traditional bolus thermodilution method. Available with or without AMC Thromboshield treatment, an antimicrobial heparin coating designed to reduce infection.
