Description
- The Wheaton Erlenmeyer Flask is made of Lexan Polycarbonate Resin that has outstanding mechanical, optical, electrical and thermal properties
- This resin conforms to flame retardant standards and is scratch resistant
- This resin also meets the requirements of United States Pharmacopeia (USP) XXII Class VI
- The Flasks are manufactured in a class 10K clean room
- The flasks are certified pyrogen-, DNase- and RNase-free and are packaged particulate free and wrapped in an easy tear, sterile bagWheaton offers both flat bottom and baffled Erlenmeyer Flasks
- Both Erlenmeyer Shake Flasks are supplied standard with a patented vented DuoCap
- The DuoCap, made of medical grade polypropylene, has a 0.22um membrane that allows sterile gas exchange when the cap is open
- When the cap is closed, the Flask becomes leak resistant
- The baffled flasks are ideal for applications that require increased levels of oxygenation and mixing
- The Flask and DuoCap can be autoclaved (less than or equal to 10 cycles) and can withstand temperatures up to 130 degrees C
- Each Flask is gamma irradiated to sterility assurance level (SAL) of 10-6
- The Flasks are transparent and feature molded graduation markings
- Patented DuoCAP allows sterile air exchange or leak resistant seal
- Re-autoclavable, reusable flasks
- Sterile to SAL 10-6
- Individually packed in easy tear bags
- Available with a flat or baffled base
- Available with septum cap for pathogen containment
