Description
- These highly absorbent one-piece dressings are made from five layers of material: a protective, nonadherent contact layer; a Stay-Dry liner that aids drainage; a center layer that absorbs drainage; a cellulose layer that wicks drainage horizontally along the pad to increase absorption; and an air-permeable backing for strength and durability
- May be soaked with saline or topical agents prior to use to aid irrigation and protect wound sites from further trauma
- Rounded edges conform to curved and hard-to-dress areas without unnecessary bulk, while soft pliability allows for range of motion exercises during recovery
- Use as a primary or secondary dressing
