Description
- Disposable sharps transfer tray was designed by a scrub nurse to transfer and pass commonly used sharp instruments including scalpels, sutures, trocars, forceps, K-wires, syringes and retractors
- Underside accommodates the practical positioning and safe passing of multiple instruments
- Use where controls are required to reduce employee exposure to bloodborne pathogens
- Center finger guide cradles scalpel for safe removal without looking away from surgical field; sloping sides automatically rotate and direct dropped scalpels into safety position
- Central recess is wide enough to accommodate scalpel blades but does not allow fingers to touch blades; accommodates handle sizes 3,4,5,7 and 9 with loaded scalpel blades 10,11,12,15,20,22 and 23
