Decent product

Have used one for 14 years. Unfortunately like many janitorial carts it lacks placement for the many things necessary to do janitorial duties. Fortunately, have found it to be very adaptable for products to be used. Took only 13 years to do it. Cardboard boxes can be used on top shelf (1 for medium to large bags and an inner box for vertical standing small waste cans. Removed bag. Useless unless you are doing a lot of small office trash cans, 6 to 8 gallon. Can fortunately remove it and (in my case) put steel threaded rods approx. 4 to 5 inches below fastened to legs (2) either side of back of cart putting hardboard over that attached with tape or other and then can add sides inside that area for chemical bottles, rags, boxed soap. Under that can attach 2 other rods wrapped in tape with a nut, and large washer and another nut on the ends. Here you can place wet floor signs. Works perfect. Must understand though for this to work you will have to offset weight on back with 15 pounds of weight (10 pound, and 2 2/12 pound weights) on the front. Will need to place a 1/2 piece of wood over front edge and sides and must only go to legs on front of cart. Area in between is used for back pack vacuum I have on a 3/4 inch post on corner of front of cart where screw goes. Still has screw there only has a post with it. Works perfect. With regard to the wood on front of cart must also put stobs on underside of wood to hold weights in place so they are not sliding all over the place. With the side hooks (plastic) on front of cart (either side) can use them for micro fiber pads as they have loops on them and makes it easier in that you are not bending to get to them. Another useful tool are extra large binder clips which can be used in conjunction with bath shower caddy for bottles of hair shampoo. Think they are about 14 inches or greater in length. These can be attached to the side of the handle to left or right with double backed tape where caddy would touch. The beauty of this cart is that in the back where the hands go to push the cart is a section just in front where there is a wide but narrow (2 plus inches) opening. This is ideal for a dustpan. Easily accessible but you will need to keep it clean on occasion as it is a contact area. Also with the weights on front of cart you can now add velcro (two strips) to the side of the back handle. One on either side where hands will go. These should be approximatelly 16 inches long. Here you can place a 5 gallon bucket on either side. One for toilet brush and container along with plunger. On the other side you can use it for your rags. Works beautifully. And when your dustpan is dirty you can place in side ways (hangs in there and you can spray disinfectant on it rront, back and else and wipe in down ""later"" if you so wish or just put it back in place when it is finished air drying. Like to do mine after using it to push ONLY down trash in bathrooms since paper. This saves on garbage bags and you would be astonished at the amount of usable space you save day by day. With regard to boxes you can also modify a box to go along back and front of cart edge (4 inches wide, 16 inches long, by approx. 6 3/4 inches high with built in spacer of cardboard inside box for Sani sacs and else. Another on back can be used for clipboard, paper and other. And too if you are really creative you can cut a 3/4 inch wooden circle approx. 2 1/2 inches in diameter with a dowel rod attached to the center and attach it on the back corner with double back tape all over the bottom. This will support a """small""" roll towel from the paper towel dispenser after most has been used up. If you want also can create a single drawer shelf (laminated all around) on front of cart over wood on front of cart about 12 inches high by width and diameter of cart. works well for multi fold towels and in my case presently for individually wrapped surgical gloves. Can also if you want on top of drawer add a 5 gallon bucket for micro fiber pads. You will however have to add 4 stops about 3 inches high to keep bucket from sliding off. On lower two shelves you can put toilet paper and on last shelf I put paper towels. Incidentally the shower caddy mentioned earlier can and is generally used for boxed gloves and maybe a small spray bottle. Over all though this is a decent cart with room for modification.
