Cardinal Health Petrolatum Emulsion Contact Layer Dressing
Petrolatum emulsion contact layer dressing is sterile, occlusive wound dressing made with a flexible, non-adherent knitted cellulose acetate fabric coated with a formulated petrolatum emulsion. It is used to help aid fluid transfer into the secondary dressing. The non-adherent property of the dressing helps to facilitate atraumatic removal by providing protection to the wound bed during dressing changes.
