- Thermometers are filled with the nontoxic, nonhazardous, biodegradable liquid EnviroKleen, which is black against yellow back glass for ease of readability
- They offer 1°C accuracy or better as certified by ChemTel, an independent laboratory, which shows they have the same accuracy as similar mercury types, but without the hazards
- Fluoropolymer coating helps prevent breakage and keeps liquids and glass contained in the event of breakage
- Supplied with a multilanguage (English, French, German, Italian, Portuguese and Spanish) statement of accuracy traceable to NIST and DAkkS and individual serial number
- Tested and calibrated in Bel-Art's triple accredited/registered ISO/IEC 17025:2005, A2LA accredited laboratory against equipment whose calibration is traceable to NIST and DAkkS
