- Activated charcoal is impregnated into this disposable charcoal disk to absorb most of the volatile S-35 radioactive component before it can escape from the petri dish during metabolic labeling
- Sterilized disk is placed inside the lid of the 100 mm petri dish used for labeling
- Efficiently captures volatile S-35 radioactive component and after use, it can be disposed of in regular beta waste containers
- This disk works well with Bel-Art Charcoal Cartridge BRTF249890000, sold separately, when the two are placed on incubator shelves to trap the volatile S-35 radioactive component
