Description
- Falcon Sputum Collection System
- System is engineered to help protect healthcare workers from accidental exposure to contagious specimens
- The specimen is collected directly into a 50mL shatter-resistant conical tube through a funneled collection bay
- Then, a recloseable collection flap seals off the collection end to prevent contamination
- The hinge design of the collection funnel allows the clinician to attach the screw cap to the conical tube without touching the top of the specimen tube or the cap
- The specimen tube can then be detached and used for digestion, decontamination, or centrifugation
- Tubes withstand up to 3500rpm
