Description
- Lifelike, flexible teaching model molded from 74-year-old patient permits easy application and removal of dressings without leaving adhesive residue behind
- Realistic design allows for the practice wound cleansing, classification, staging, and assessment as well as the measurement of wound length, depth, undermining and tunneling
- Displays pressure ulcers in stages I-IV; stage II ulcer features undermining, tunneling, subcutaneous fat and slough; stage IV features exposed bones, undermining, tunneling, subcutaneous fat, eschar and slough
- Stage III and Stage IV are positioned so that a "bridging" dressing for use with a vacuum-assisted closure and negative pressure wound therapy devices can be demonstrated and practiced
