Description
- Designed to provide comfortable support, protection and treatment for the fracture commonly called the "boxer fracture"
- Splint is ideal for quick and efficient immobilization of common metacarpal fractures; MP joints are positioned in extension
- Rigid Kydex shell immobilizes and protects the fracture and surrounding joints, while the T-Foam padded liner ensures even further comfort, along with support and conformity to the fracture volume
- In difficult-to-fit instances, the splint's shell may be gently heated with a heat gun and reshaped to accommodate swelling
